K2 A.M.P. Rictor Skis with Marker/K2 MX 12.0 Bindings 2012 - The Rictor returns this season as the go to ski for skiers that want to ski every aspect and condition of the mountain. Stable and playful for the expert, but not too demanding for the confidant intermediate. 80mm underfoot and K2's All Terrain Rocker (rocker in the tip, with camber under foot) the Rictor has enough waist width to float through powder, and power through crud. The Rocker in the tip gives the ski a quick, and responsive turn initiation, absorbs the negative energy from bumps and crud, and helps the tips of the skis plane on top of the fluffy stuff in the bowls and trees. Hybritech Sidewalls give the Rictor a lot of edge grip when the groomers get icy. An aspen/paulownia wood core with metal laminates, the MOD, and MOD Monic vibration dampening systems ensure that the Rictor will have a smooth and damp, yet lively feel no matter what condition or what ski area you are at. The K2 Rictor can take any punishment you can dish out at it, but is not too much ski for the athletic intermediate, no matter what conditions or resort you are at.
