K2's Catch Free Rocker is slight rocker in the tip and tail. Tip rocker helps you initiate a turn quicker by engaging the edge easier. The Catch Free Rocker will get you to carving turns, instead of skidding them. The MOD technology absorbs vibrations and impact along the entire edge of the ski, and adds strength without affecting the flex of the ski. The MOD Monic chip is a focus mass dampening system that smooths out the ride of the SuperSweet the faster you push her. The K2/Marker ER3 plate is lighter, lower and wider this season providing faster, and easier energy transfer between the binding and the ski.
